Delta is the brain child of World Impact and Agora Partnerships. Delta is a recoverable grant program for Agora Partnerships alumni companies, funded by World Impact. As part of World Impact’s larger recoverable grant strategy, Delta provides funding to companies who are not yet able to service a traditional loan. Aligning incentives in order to promote capacity development of companies to service follow on debt investment from World Impact.
Throughout the duration of the recoverable grant period, the company is expected to achieve certain impact and financial milestones. The company receives impact and financial consulting and utilizes the recoverable grant funding as it would working capital. Allowing a reporting and operational experience similar to a typical investment, however with a higher level of support for the company.
Companies which successfully repay the recoverable grant to Agora Partnerships and meet milestones will be provided follow on debt investment directly from World Impact.
